While walking through my old neighborhood, I spoke with Mayor Mike Middleton and he told me that Larene Stinson still lived in the house since my childhood. I had to go to knock on her door and her daughter in law was there also. She is Ann Scruggs Stinson and our families were friends while growing up. What a treat to get to see each of them.
We made a picture of Ann, Larene, and me. It is a little blurred but by that time of day we were too!
While traveling on 106 I made a shot back across the football field of old Georgiana High School. I'm glad the walls can't talk!
A couple of miles out of town we passed in front of Charles Williams house. Charles and David's father, Morris, were friends from school boys and had kept up with each other and visited on many occasions. We stopped and visited with Charles for a few minutes and I got a couple of pics of he and David. A little blurry again.
Been bathing y'all in prayer. I am really enjoying following along on the blog and seeing all the pictures. Please continue to post with any updates....I love all the little details that it shares.
