Entering Macon County started our 8th county to cross. Just inside Macon County we went through FT Davis, AL that I did not know existed. A store that closed many years ago, that we didn't get a picture of. A depot that is in need of restoration however you could see the track bed but it had been long removed. A picture of David under the entrance cover to FT Davis US Post Office. And then a picture of each of us at the van at the end of 10.3 miles in 90 degree temps!

ey Guys....This sounds like an interesting leg on your journey with some cool places visited...."War Eagle" the Toomer's Corner Oaks rolling must have been "AUsome"! I liked the unique little Post Office and Depot at Fort.Davis, a first for me too!
